I think the first 200 pages or so of The Overstory have changed how I think about trees forever. If you're up for reading about the pandemic, The Premonition was fascinating (did you know that our modeling for how to respond to a pandemic was created by a middle schooler for her science fair? And that she didn't even win?!). An Indigenous People's History of the United States was harrowing. The Body Keeps the Score feels like a must-read as well.
